My time

It's 9:30 at night. Everyone is in bed (including Jim.) I'm actually kinda tired but I refuse to go to bed yet. I have to have my alone time. My time without kids. I adore my children more than anything but I have to have time to unwind alone.

It gives me time do put together my to do list for the next day. I've found that if I make a to do list then I accomplish more and I feel better. I love lists. I love being able to cross things off my lists. It's such a great sense of accomplishment. I will even put things on my list that I've already accomplished that day just so I can cross them off :) How pathetic am I?

I'm with you, I love my alone time. I remember for a year or so all three of our kids went to bed at 7:30. I had like three hours to myself every night. It was heaven. :)

They go to bed a little later now, but I still love that quiet time. Glad the twins are still sleeping pretty good for you!

How pathetic are you? Hmm...try NOT AT ALL!!! SILLY MEL!

I do the EXACT same thing. And by exact -- I mean, I even go so far as to write something when I've already done it...just so I can feel good about having one more thing done in the day!

Actually, sometimes I'll write down EVERYTHING I did in a day -- just to remind myself of what I accomplished. :)
