Elizabeth Colleen was born on April 17, 2008 at 11:58am. She arrived two minutes after her brother. She was 4lbs 10oz and 16 inches long. She has bright red hair. She stole her daddy's heart the minute she was born. Ellie's middle name is for her Grandma Frees. Ellie has quite a few nicknames already Jim calls her Tweetum Pickles. Mommy calls her Ellie, Ellie Belly, Belly Button. Ellie is our night owl. She goes to bed late and wakes up late.
For the first month she was so tiny she fit into doll clothes. Grandma Hanson had to make her a dress from a doll pattern so she had something to wear to church. She is our tiny girl. She now weighs 7 lbs 14 oz. (almost as much as Ben did when he was born.) She just barely grew out of preemie clothes. She is more independent than her brother. She has the biggest smiles that will melt your heart. She loves to coo and talk. But she will let you know when she is unhappy! She tends to be fussy in the evenings like her brother, Will. Baths and walks sometimes work to calm her down too so I spend a lot of time outside with Will and Ellie. One in each arm.
